Superbreak
The first step is to find your
flight. Amsterdam receives several flights from the UK
everyday from scheduled airlines like British Airways and KLM to the
"no frills" or budget airlines like Easyjet, Thomsonfly and Bmi
Baby. For this project, we are going to look at booking a
flight with the "no frills" airlines.
Easyjet fly to Amsterdam from
Belfast, Bristol, Edinburgh, Gatwick, Glasgow, Liverpool, Luton &
Stanstead.
BMI Baby fly to Amsterdam from
Birmingham, London Heathrow & Nottingham East Midlands Airport.
Thomsonfly
have flights to Amsterdam from Bournemouth, Coventry &
Doncaster/Sheffield (Robin Hood) Airports.
Rest assured that the "no frills"
airlines only cut out the frills like free newspapers, food and drinks.
They do not cut down on safety. Snacks and drinks are available to purchase onboard.
So, as you can see there is
plenty of choice available with flights to Amsterdam from most areas of
the country daily.
Now that you have found an
airline that flies to Amsterdam from your locality, simply click on the
link above to check out flight availability for your chosen dates.
Remember, the earlier you book your flight with the "no frills"
carriers, the cheaper the flights will be! Be aware that the "no
frills" airlines also offer special promotions that could make your
chosen flight even cheaper after you have booked. If you have
already booked and the flight price goes down later via a promotion, you
will not get any money back.
The flight time to Amsterdam
Schiphol airport is between 50 & 70 minutes. The Netherlands
are also 1 hour ahead of UK time.
